We'd like to remind our members that on Sunday, November 9th,
Veirs Mill Road and parts of Aspen Hill Road will be
closed in the morning. From the "Marathon in the Parks"
website's "instructions to motorists" page, at
http://www.marathonintheparks.org/traffictips.shtml:
Aspen Hill Road and neighborhood.
Aspen Hill Road and Veirs Mill Road will be
closed at their intersection from 8:05 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.
and Randolph will be closed from 8:15 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.
To access Aspen Hill from the west, use Norbeck/Bel Pre/Georgia.
From south of the Beltway, use Georgia Ave or Rockville Pike to
Norbeck/Bel Pre/Georgia instead of Connecticut.
From the east and south (but north of the Beltway and
east of Rock Creek), use Connecticut or Georgia to Aspen Hill Road.
Veirs Mill Road east of Aspen Hill.
Veirs Mill Road will be closed at Aspen Hill from 8:05 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.
and Randolph will be closed from 8:15 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.
Local traffic will be able to reach churches and residences
on Veirs Mill from the east.
From the northwest, use Rockville Pike/Norbeck/Bel Pre/Georgia/Connecticut.
From the southwest, use the Beltway to Georgia to Veirs Mill.
